Irregular Choice Star Wars collection

It comes as no surprise that the release of the upcoming Star Wars film is on the mind of many people. Tickets sales have started, the trailer has been released and merchandise is flooding the stores. It’s a good time to be a Star Wars fan.
And this time more and more companies are working together with Star Wars to bring out some really nice things. One of these companies is Irregular Choice which is known for their bright, colourful and detailed shoe designs.

Ever since the collaboration for the Irregular Choice Star Wars collection was announced, people have been eagerly waiting for the designs to be shown. It took some months of being patient but at long last more and more designs are slowly being revealed to the fans.

I made an update post, with all the available designs and their prices in a new post.

Irregular Choice is known for pushing the boundaries with their extensive range of character heels, but now they’ve taken it to a whole new galaxy far far away.
Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, Yoda and FLASHING lightsabers with sound effects are just some of the amazing heels and flats which will be available for you to get your hands on, just in time for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Shoe lovers everywhere, we are here to rescue you!

Some of the designs that have been released so far feature fan favourites like, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader and lightsabers. And they seems to have both flats and heels in stores. Personally I wonder if they will also have designs that steer away from flats and designs and features heavy (wookie) boots and the like.
But what I have seen so far, I am sure that many will love what the Irregular Choice Star Wars collection has to offer.

The C-3P0 flats are gorgeous. With their gold they will be perfect for the holidays and party outfits. But for normal every day (office) wear they will be perfect as well. The gold is a nice touch to many outfits and I can see myself wearing these with some (small) matching accessories and jeans.
And it has a gorgeous print on the soles that only add to the charm.

The Skywalker! These boots are more clunky and tough looking and have some really epic lightsaber design in the heels. From what I understood you can let the heels light up as you walk or switch them off if you want to go into stealth mode. Personally I love the look of the soles and the gold/leathery design of the shoes.
A lot of the Irregular Choice sport a heel design like that, so while I normally would be worried about the fragility of it. I know that in this case the company knows its stuff and I can safely wear them on my adventures.

Darth Vader flats! These are just perfect for any occasion as you can hardly ever go wrong with black shoes and gold detailing. And again the soles of the shoes look so amazing! But to be fair, I am worried about it, since the soles will always show damage from just walking on the shoes. I wonder how well the soles will hold up to simple every day use and if the print will stay over time.

These were the first one I saw, and I fell in love with them. They really have the signature Irregular choice look and manage to scream Star Wars at the same time. And to be fair, how can you go wrong with R2D2 on your feet? The blue shade and the netting/graphics on the shoes are really nice.
Among my friends this is the one what got us excited for the collection.

For now there is no word on prices and all we know is that the shoes will be released on the 30th of October in the (online) Irregulars Choice stores. I have the feeling that in the upcoming days we will see more designs being revealed. So keep an eye on their Instagram and Facebook pages for more on the Irregular Choice Star Wars collection.

As soon as more news is available and all designs have been released I will make another post on it. But so far I am really impressed with the designs which are a perfect match between Irregular Choice signature style and that epic Star Wars feel/design. While we have seen plenty of sneaker collections (Adidas, Vans etc.) it’s nice to add some heels and flats to the collection.
Personally I am hoping to get my hands on the R2D2 shoes, as they would be a perfect match for my dress. And if the collection would feature matching handbags and accessories that would be just perfect.
